We decided to do some more domestic
stuff this morning.
We wanted to get all of this stuff done before the rally in Harrisburg, OR. While doing so we meet a couple from San Clemente, California. They are
planning to full time RV in 2 years!
They are now in their late 60’s!
They look great though. They bought
a 1998 diesel pusher for $30k with 40k miles to try out the lifestyle. They beat us in miles per days. They went 2700 miles in the last 10 days! Anyway they left a couple of hours after we
met them in the laundry room.
After the laundry, we went up to
the top of an old volcano. We saw a lot
of full hook-up camping that we would have liked. We really want to do some “camping” our style
with full hook ups but in the woods.
We took the suggestion of our New
Jersey Friend (John Hannon, whose native to Eugene) to have dinner at the Pine Tavern in downtown
Bend. We had a great dinner with a great
waiter out on the patio near the river.
I had prime rib and Patty had the Filet.
We also had 2 bottles of Oregon wine.

Pub crawler in Bend Oregon. $20 a head and all pedal and the owner steers. Even a place for your drink in the center. |

We were back at the RV by 9pm and
in bed by 10pm.
Tomorrow we travel to the RV
Dreams Rally in Harrisburg, OR. We will
be with many Full timers for the first time since we became full time. Can’t wait!!
Stay tuned!
