Friday: August 31, 2012 Creekside Dining
My step father Leon Weber and his wife Barbara came to visit
us and see the RV on Friday. Patty and I
went to their house about 2 miles away and visited with them for an hour or so
first. Then it was time for them to ride
in the BAT (Big Ass Truck). It was hard
to get Barbara in to the truck; we used a small foot stool so the first step wasn’t
so far. Leon, however, got right up in
the passenger seat easily. We spent
some time at the RV and then back to their house.
We had a so/so meal at the Creekside restaurant. There is not a lot of variety in restaurants
if you want a non- chain restaurant in the area. I have eaten there several times over the
years and I like the place for some reason.
It’s not for the food or the service though. Not sure what that leaves, but I like it.

We will only have 2 of the grand- kids, Bailey and Savannah,
but that is just fine. They were dropped
off about 12:30 just in time for kids bingo at the pavilion in the
campground. This Saturday the campground
caters to families and especially kids.
After the activities in the afternoon they have movies on a projected
screen at night.

Sleep time!! |
We ordered out for a pizza from my new favorite pizza place in town, Old Town Pizza. The crust is thin and not soggy with a zingy sauce and lots of real cheese. What more could you want in a pizza. We started a fire around 8pm so we could make somores. After the somores, there was much running around from campsite to campsite with new friends. Patty and I also got to run around (just a little) to keep an eye on where the kids were.
At 10:30 we were all in front of the TV watching vampire
shows. Around 12:00 all got quite and
sleep set in.
All is good J
Stay tuned!
